Fourth of July in New York City.

My brother is interning at GE for the summer up in NYC. My college roommate Brian’s sister is also up there for the summer interning at Todd’s (some fashion company I know nothing about). Brian and I flew up this weekend to see our siblings and experience the Fourth of July in the Big Apple.

It was an excellent and incredibly exhausting trip - more than one night ended as the sun came up. We ate at a New York deli, did a Jagerbomb with a kid straight out of “My New Haircut”, rode the subway, napped in Central Park, ate cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery, walked down Wall Street, watched fireworks from a rooftop in Midtown, visited Times Square and lots more.

These are the first few pictures from a friend’s digital camera. Because everyone in our group forgot their cameras, most of mine are waiting to be developed from the old school disposable camera we used to catalog the weekend.

All in all a great trip.
