Microsoft Research: Songsmith
Songsmith is PC software that automatically creates musical accomaniment to match a singer’s voice.? You record yourself singing into your computer microphone and the software automatically adds instruments in the right key and chord progressions.? I’m really interested in tools that make it easier for people without formal training to make music.? This looks like a lot of fun.? I wish it was available for Mac.
This looks amazing - going to try it as soon as I get home.
