The utter and complete disrespect that is being shown towards Republicans (specifically Bush & McCain) is disgusting.
I can understand disliking a president or politician. I can absolutely understand disagreeing with him or her. But when you resort to childish name calling and disrespect to show your feelings about someone, you look like you’ve never grown out of the mindset of the average eighth grader.
Add to that the utter giddiness over how foxy Obama is and well dressed his wife is, and I’m convinced the majority of my generation is stuck in junior high.
Newsflash: Being president is hard. And being well dressed, in touch with the youth, and being attractive isn’t going to make it easier.
I truly hope that Obama is going to be the best president ever. But if he isn’t, I won’t resort to the same tactics that so many others have. I have respect for the presidency, no matter who is in there. I just wish everyone did.
