“Shapeshifter” - Josie & The Pussycats (via andrewfutral)
Did you know that Josie & The Pussycats is one of the main reasons I started really playing guitar? Did you know that at 14 years old I was so influenced by Rachel Leigh Cook’s pop-punk awesomeness that I decided it was time for me to embark on my own personal path to rock stardom?
The soundtrack to that movie is pretty spectacular. Probably because Kay Hanley is the singing voice of Josie and the cowriter on lots of tracks (maybe this one? Don’t know).
A seriously and tragically underrated movie. Isn’t Kay Hanley the girl from Letters to Cleo? I have no idea how I knew that…
