TARP Banks: Stop Spending Taxpayer Money on Lollipops!

We are dismayed and angered to learn that TARP banks have recently spent thousands of taxpayer dollars on lollipops at their branch locations. According to published media reports, numerous banks have been been known to have three to four different flavors of lollipop in each dish. Frivolous expenses like these are shameful, and we demand that all TARP banks return to the federal government the equivalent amount of money that banks frittered away on these decadent sweets.

Sincerely,
Barney Frank
