Universal has just debuted the trailer for Michael Mann’s highly anticipated Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. Depp stars as the infamous 1930’s bank robber John Dillinger and Bale as his FBI pursuer Melvin Purvis. Those of you who have been anxiously awaiting your first glimpse better check this out, because it looks like we might have another crime movie as exceptional as The Untouchables on our hands. It’s got that distinct Michael Mann style (think Collateral), but set in the 1930s and infused with tommy gun action.
