junglejustine:

While catching a few z’s on my train ride home from the school (downtown manhattan) I over hear a group of highschool kids discussing the difference between a woman shopping and a man shopping.

“When I go shopping I know what I’m going to buy.” says one boy.

“Yea, if I see something else, I’ll get it too but usually if I want to buy a t-shirt, I’ll walk out with a t-shirt.” says another boy.

I coudnt’ help but think that the male and female mentality on shopping is similar to the male and female mentality on dating.

Women go in, looking for a little affection then walk out disappointed because they didn’t find love (but didn’t you go in for momentary affection?). Like that great pair of shoes you saw in a catalogue but they didn’t have in stock when you went to go pick up a pair of your own. Men however, go into a relationship wanting affection and only affection.

Women are always changing their mind while men are dead set.

Don’t get me wrong ladies, I’m queen of being indecisive whether it be shopping or whether it be dating however, it is almost uncanny how similar the male mentality of shopping is to the male mentality of dating.

You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of similarities between the two.
