Above is Rep. Chuck Rangel (D) speaking about the bill he introduced to retroactively tax bonuses at 90%, despite seemingly valid accusations he illegally avoided taxes himself.
Notice that at the beginning he claims to have not been able to hear a question he has no answer for, but has no difficulty hearing anything for the remainder of the interview.
It is absolutely ridiculous that a man like this (who clearly does not know what he is talking about) can not only be elected, but become the chairman of the Ways & Means Committee. It truly casts doubts on the level of corruption and cronyism that exists in Washington.
The only thing encouraging about the video above is the persistence of the interviewers for not letting him off the hook.
