I’ve been a Devils fan literally since the day I was born - my great uncle used to own the team. One of the first things I ever memorized when I was little was their starting lineup. They’re the first sports team I was ever a fan of.
I was also literally the only fan in my section and the two on either side wearing a Devils jersey. When Zajac scored in OT to win it, I was basically the only one standing and cheering on my entire half of the arena. I think I counted into the double digits at least of obscenities shouted my way :)
All in all an awesome night, as I almost never get to watch the Devils on TV (hockey doesn’t get much airtime in NC), let alone live and in the playoffs.
