Executive Pay For Performance Can Be A Terrible Idea

John Carney makes the case that tying pay to performance can create misaligned incentives and is actually unhealthy for companies.

If you’ve been at outspoken critic of executive pay (I’m speaking to 95% of Tumblr here) - give this a read. It’s quick, not preachy, and will educate you about both sides of the argument.
